What is a Registered Dietitian?

Registered Dietitians are specialists in human metabolism and nutrition.  Highly recommended by most physicians, these health practitioners require a Bachelor's degree and 1-year internship before they take the National Board Exam for their discipline.  Most states require licensure to practice medical nutrition but, Arizona does not so, it is very important to investigate the qualifications of anyone you talk with about your metabolism.  NutriCoachAZ LLC only employs Registered Dietitians with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience to ensure your safety.

Telehealth empowers clients to save time and money by eliminating the need to take time out of your day for traveling to and from your appointment.  By using HIPPA-compliant videoconferencing and secure messaging, appointments are attended virtually from the privacy of your home or office.  NutriCoachAZ LLC also has the appropriate equipment needed to receive provider access your wearables, such as Fitbit, for real-time support, as needed.

What forms of payment does NutriCoachAZ LLC take?

NutriCoachAZ LLC accepts online payment via debit or major credit card.  Medical Nutrition Therapy services may be paid by FSA/HSA card if physician referral or traditional insurance reimbursement is not desired.  Many services may be packaged and paid at a recurring monthly rate.

Will my health insurance cover Registered Dietitian services?

Medical Nutrition Therapy is covered by most insurance plans with a doctor's referral.  Be sure to ask our team to check if your insurance plan includes MNT and/or preventative health services.  We would be happy to check for you.

Unfortunately, NutriCoachAZ LLC is currently not in-network with any carrier but, we are in the process of enrolling.  In the meantime, we are happy to provide a Superbill for payments received so you can ask your carrier for reimbursement.  We will post which carriers we are in-network with as our provider enrollments are approved.
